Are we designing according to what we imagine, or imagining according to what our tools make possible?

## Systems

### The Brookfield design system

Since 2021

I built it, and I keep it growing across brands. Treating the system as a product, with all the care and upkeep that comes with that. Here's a look at the core Figma file.

### Design system documentation spec

2026

An open spec for documenting design systems so people and agents can read the same thing. PJ leads it, I contribute, and I believe in where it's going.

### Accessibility Fieldnotes

2026

Accessibility decisions, open questions, and checks, written in Markdown so people and agents can keep the intent close to the component.

### A11y audit kit

2026

A plug-and-play setup for humans or agents to run Pa11y, and convert the report.json into a digestible markdown.

## Agentic

### AI Agent-ready design systems at Brookfield

In progress

Bringing the system I built into the way we work with agents. Design, code, and the decisions between them. Still building, still figuring things out.

### Figma agentic /skills

Ongoing

Skills that make Figma do what I actually want, built one annoyance at a time. Essential. At least for me.

## Sites and things

### A new website for Brookfield

2025

Brookfield's main site, rebuilt. Big team, a lot of Drupal, a lot of tokens. I'm a Senior Product Designer here and it's cool.

### A new Guideposts.org

2026

I restructured a giant content catalogue and rebuilt the UI around it. I hid a lil' peach accent in there for my Wife.

### An accessible card stack in React

2026

Card stacks are tricky to make keyboard and screen-reader friendly. I built one that is, and I love it.
